I had my iTunes on shuffle until this song came on. “Body & Soul” is why the repeat function exists. This vocal performance is so intricate I find something new every time I listen. She’s not just singing the song, she chooses and performs every phrase, bend, tone, or swell of vibrato with decisive precision. The whole song is beautiful but she really lets loose and begins doing things I would never expect around the 1:25 mark. Listen and Enjoy!
